I, too, am satisfied by it.
The way my tongue tingles,
Mind gratified
Contempt.

Warm biscuits glazed with honey
Wrapped to its finest delight,
Or a smile lively as the sun
Blinding my sight.

Traveling into space
Gliding past meteors and planets,
Adventuring on my way
With a spaceship and organics.

Love is a country road
Sometimes rocky, yet so bold,
Many emotions unexplained
Fuzzy feelings you attain.

Poems express words unsaid
From the gut, to heart, to head
Poetry isn’t a must but delight
To hear words make a gloomy day bright.

Eye

Blue represents the ocean’s curling waves
Wandering your mind,
The crashing of the water hitting the rocks
While the full moon takes its toll.

Pain lingers in your eyes
As if a bomb hit desert ground,
Causing streaks
Of  destruction.

Love can cause desperation
Unfurnished rooms, dusty air,
Eyes glisten with a heavenly power
Clouds take over and eyes start to shower

Going home to say farewell
Your eyes still adventure on,
Life is portrayed through
Your eyes.
That Lonely, Little Fish

The smallest fish lies in the sea
Shy from all the others,
The whales stand above her, looking down
She runs and hides for cover.

She hides herself from the outside world afraid of what others might think
This little fish needs to learn to swim
So that one day she won’t sink

She is just a little fish
In a big fishes world,
And that is all she’ll ever be until she finds her true identity.

Meeting at Night
By Robert Browning

The gray sea and the long black land;
And the yellow half-moon large and low:
And the startled little waves that leap
In fiery ringlets from their sleep,
As I gain the cove with pushing prow,
And quench its speed i’ the slushy sand.

Then a mile of warm sea-scented beach;
Three fields to cross till a farm appears;
A tap at the pane, the quick sharp scratch
And blue spurt of a lighted match,
And a voice less loud, through joys and fears,
Than the two hearts beating each to each!

What if?

What if?
What if my heart sped with aching beats?
What if your love was an uttered speech?
What if I died to save your life?
Would it be a type of strife?
What if I proclaimed my love for you?
Would your lips, soft and lovely, move for my every beck and call?
What if you said no?

It would be like placing a sharp knife against my throat.
So dull and lonely I sit and cry for a touch, a lingering echo of your voice,
What if bodies said yes but the mind said no,
What if?
I see blood all around, the tears streaming down my face,
Everything is done now.
You do not have to choose my love anymore,

What if you said you love me too?
Would this trouble be a waste?
It’s way too late darkness has come,
I want to turn back, what if you said yes?
What if?
